Dimastyaji Yusron Nurseta, a 25-year-old from Indonesia, is on a mission to drive sustainability and innovation in the bioeconomy at WUR where he has been doing a PhD in early stage evaluation of bio-based production chains (thesis 4.4). As a master’s student in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program in Sustainable Biomass and Bioproducts Engineering, he was deeply engaged in research that integrates sustainability, circular economy, and biobased science.

Outside of his academic pursuits, Dimastyaji is an easy-going individual with a love for simple joys. He enjoys reading comics and fantasy novels, nurturing plants through gardening, and even engaging in spontaneous gibberish singing. While he tends to avoid the spotlight, his curiosity and enthusiasm for learning make him stand out in his own way.
